Limited Release - only 200 Dozen Made

We're pleased to announce the much-anticipated release of the latest Hill Block Chardonnay from the 2018 Vintage.

After the excellent 2017 vintage, 2018 follows on back-to-back as another standout year at Lake's Folly (I'm very pleased with the resultant wines from both vintages).

Tasting notes follow.

LAKE'S FOLLY HILL BLOCK CHARDONNAY 2018 96 / 100

Colour is golden yellow. Yeasty, barrel fermentation characters on the nose, with melon and white peach, and subtle fine-charred oak.

The palate is silky, seamless, rounded, with peach and melon flavours. Extremely classy wine with layers of complexity – Burgundian in style. Will develop even more complex characters with time; stylish and complete.

With the limited supply of 200 dozen made (available in 12-bottle or 6-bottle cases), and the popularity of past Hill Block releases, we expect this vintage to sell quickly.
